How can I price out a custom building?
1. You can use our 3D Configurator with instant pricing while you add or remove items and change sizes. When you save or submit for a quote, it will be sent directly to your email inbox.
2. Give us a call and we will use our 3D Configurator to design a building for you. We will send you a quote to your email. If something is not in the configurator, we may still be able to accommodate your customizations and add a line item and price to the quote.
Can I buy a shed directly off your display lot?
Yes, you can! If you need a building delivered quickly, purchasing directly from our lot is a perfect option. While our lots are great for walking through to get inspiration for a brand new custom build, they also serve as ready to go inventory. If you find a shed on the lot that fits your needs perfectly, you can buy it right then and there. Just scan the QR code on the building's flyer to purchase it instantly through our website.
Delivery details for lot inventory:
- Delivery timeline: 1 to 3 weeks from our lots.
- Delivery fee: The first 50 miles are free, and it is $5 per mile after that.
What is the current lead time for a custom build?
Lead times can vary depending on the season and our current build schedule. Once you design your building and submit it for a quote, we can provide you with an estimated timeline for construction and delivery. Typically during regular business we are 1-2 weeks, busier season we are 2-4 weeks
Do you move private buildings?
Yes, we have a crew equipped to move private party buildings that we did not build. Because there are a lot of variables involved with moving existing structures, please fill out the form at https://buildingmoves.com to get started.
How are your sheds constructed?
Our prefabricated buildings are built to last using high quality materials. They are crafted by highly experienced Amish builders who take serious pride in their workmanship. We use premium lumber, pressure treated skids, and heavy duty flooring and truss options to ensure your shed can handle the Midwest weather and 60ft lbs of snow.
Do I need a building permit for my new shed?
Building codes and permit requirements vary greatly depending on your city, township, or county. We highly recommend checking with your local zoning office to determine if a permit is required for the specific size and placement of the building you are planning to purchase.
How should I prepare my yard for delivery?
Your site needs to be fully accessible for our delivery trucks and haulers, or at the very least, clear enough for our Shed Mule to maneuver your building into place. We highly recommend preparing a level gravel pad beforehand. A proper pad ensures good drainage, keeps your building level, and extends the life of your shed.
Is delivery included in the price?
Yes, For stock inventory we offer free shed delivery and setup within a 50 mile radius of our display lots in Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest.
